So here is a card I made for Crowies Craft. I thought I’d do some kids theme cards.

I love this monkey, it’s so so cheeky it reminds me of my son. In fact he saw the card and I asked if it was for his birthday (which is in October) he thinks that all his friends is getting one.

stamps: Unity Stamp Co – Retro BBQ & OCT09 KOM Wherever you go, Stampin Up! Nursery Letters, Nusery Necessities, stars (unknown name), sweet birthday. Inkpads: SU! Classic Stamp Pads – whisper white, real red, basic grey. Cardstock/paper: real red, basic grey, whisper white, SU! design paper.

I started with a card, but I loved this monkey so much I decided to make some gift tags to go with it. So I will update this post again once I complete the thank you cards which is in the making.

Pop Art Frame

This project was made as one of the lessons of my regular Friday cardmaking class. It started off as a card but once I had finished, I thought how great this one would look in a frame.

It was quite tough choosing a frame as the card itself was a little square. But I picked up this frame for a whopping $1.47 in the end what a bargain!!!

I used the Unity Stamp and Store Kit 100% Happy. This kit is sooooo versatile. I think I have almost used every stamp in it. I’m loving it.

This lovely pop art frame will look pretty swift on anyone’s wall.

Materials: whisper white cardstock, basic grey cardstock, washington apple designer paper, Haiku designer paper, urban oasis designer paper, unity stamp company 100% happy stamp set, basic grey stampin pad, whisper white stampin pad.

Sketch Challenge 251

I have decided to do a sketch challenge this week. I found this sketch on the splitcoasterstampers website and thought it would be a bit of fun. So I will make a card with the sketch challenge and get all my students to do one as well and give a little prize at the end for a bit of fun. So watch out for the outcome I’ll post next week.

A Stampin Up! Starter Kit

I have just started teaching a class in Crows Nest. It’s been a challenge for me to get anywhere on time. So for me to commit to a class every Friday was a little daunting.

The first class went off without a hitch. I had 5 new students all very creative and eagerly awaiting to contiune next week.

They asked the question as to what they need to start so I have put together a starter kit. This will have the basics of what is needed to do cardmaking.
