Birds on a wire wall decor

I have recently been hooked on Pinterest. I t’s a place where you can collect all your favourite ideas and likes. As a person who has just moved into a new home and looking for great renovation ideas – its just a great place to store all images for inspiration.

So one of the things that I saw and absolutely fell in love was this wall decal someone had made and thought I’d give it a go as well.

It was a little tricky to make as each bird had to cut out individually at varying sizes, but it looks great and I am really happy with the way it turned out, it really makes the room come alive.

Ahhh so nice to get away

Hello, I have just come back from a lovely mini stay up the north coast.  It was so nice to get away.  Apart from my little girl who suffered from teething we had a FANTASTIC weekend away.  Would you believe it was even warm enough on the Sunday to take a dip in the pool!!

The only thing I did regret was not taking along some scrapbooking supplies, I DON’T KNOW WHAT I WAS THINKING WHEN I PACKED!!!  I missed it so much, next time I will remember to pack a little.

I borrowed this book called …. more stray socks from the library, thinking it was such a great idea to turn stray socks into fluffy toys.  Which would of been alright except Hugo (my son) chose the most difficult one to make a dragon …. which means I actually had to buy the socks as I didn’t have any green socks lying about at home.  I am only halfway finished as I really can’t be bothered making all the spikes and teeth arghhhh!!! But when I’m finished I will take a photo and post it onto the blog site along with some holiday snaps, which I still haven’t had a chance to upload yet!

I will also upload the rest of my scrapbooking products to the shoppe this week as well.
